DESCRIPTION:
This route is located between As Rodrigas, capital of the town hall and “O Mazo da Fraga” in the place of O Mazo.
The route runs along the Ferreiravella regatta, on the edge of which you can still see remains of hydraulic elements in operation. The river was a true industrial complex at the service of blacksmiths at least until the 1960s, when electricity reached the region. Some of the constructions that we can find have their origin in the year 1691.
Along the route there are several informative panels that explain the history of some hydraulic devices that existed along the river. The route runs between forests of native species such as chestnut, birch and oak … has an approximate length of 8 km.
